Part of my role was creating and modifying spec sheets that would delve into the technical details of our products. Most of the time, this would require more than just a design-based skill set. I would use Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to gather data for the changes, then make the changes using Adobe Illustrator and Indesign. Specs would range in length, usually being 3-6 pages.
